Privacy policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Omabert Limited collects through this website, our contact and registration forms, email and WhatsApp, and how that data is used, stored, shared and protected under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

1.Who we are

Omabert Limited ("Omabert", "we", "us", "our") is a Health & Safety business based in Accra, Ghana, and is the data controller for personal data collected through omabertlimited.com, our contact and registration forms, WhatsApp, phone and email, and our social media channels where we handle enquiries directly.

2.Data we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as:

Where collectedData collected
Contact formFull name, organisation, email, phone number, service of interest, and any message you write
Course registration formFull name, contact details, selected programme, and the payment reference and status returned by Paystack
Email & WhatsAppWhatever you share when messaging us directly, for example proof of payment or certificate enquiries
Certificate verification pageThe verification code you enter to look up a certificate (no personal data is required to use this page)

Course fees are paid through Paystack, a licensed payment provider. Your card or Mobile Money details are entered in Paystack's secure window and go straight to Paystack; we never see or store full card or account numbers. Paystack shares with us the payment reference, amount, status and the email address used. If you pay by bank transfer instead, we confirm your payment from the proof of payment you send us.

Our forms are processed using Netlify Forms. Netlify, which hosts this website, may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address and browser type as part of delivering its service.

3.How we use your data

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form, email or WhatsApp
  • To process training registrations, confirm payment and send joining instructions
  • To issue and verify certificates of completion
  • To provide quotes, arrange PPE orders, fire safety services or consultancy engagements
  • To send practical, service-related communication, such as programme updates for a cohort you registered for
  • To maintain the security and proper functioning of our website

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data to send unsolicited marketing. If we ever wish to send you promotional content beyond service-related updates, we will ask for your consent first and let you opt out at any time.

5.Who we share data with

We share personal data only where necessary to operate our services:

  • With Netlify, our website hosting and form-processing provider, which receives form submissions on our behalf
  • With Paystack, which processes course payments made on this website
  • With Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta Pixel described in section 8
  • With payment or banking channels you use to send proof of payment for a training programme
  • Where required by law, regulation or a valid request from a competent authority in Ghana, including the Data Protection Commission

We do not sell your data or give it to third parties for their own marketing. Meta processes the website activity it receives through the Meta Pixel under its own terms and privacy policy.

6.Cross-border data transfers

Some of the service providers we use, including Netlify, Paystack and Meta, operate infrastructure outside Ghana, which means data you submit through our forms or that is generated by loading our pages may be processed on servers abroad. Where personal data is transferred outside Ghana, we rely on those providers' own data protection safeguards and, where applicable, contractual protections, consistent with the cross-border transfer requirements of the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

7.Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, for example to respond to your enquiry, deliver a training programme you registered for, or maintain certificate verification records. When data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.

8.Cookies & similar technologies

We use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram adverts work. It sets cookies and tells Meta when you view a page, view a course, start or complete a course registration, pay for a course (the amount and the course, not your card or Mobile Money details), or click a WhatsApp link. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account if you are logged in. We use these reports to decide which adverts to keep running.

You can limit this by changing your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, using your browser's privacy settings to block third-party cookies, or using a browser extension that blocks trackers. The website works normally if you do.

9.Data security & breach notification

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a serious risk to your rights or freedoms, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Commission without undue delay, in line with our obligations under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

10.Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to:

  • Ask us what personal data we hold about you and request a copy of it
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Ask us to delete personal data we no longer have a valid reason to keep
  • Object to certain uses of your data, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where we cannot fulfil a request in full, we will explain why.

11.Children's privacy

Our services are directed at businesses, professionals and adult training participants. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
